Worship is at the center of Christian life. We gather together to hear the Word of God read and preached. We join together in celebrating the sacraments.
It is our hope that what happens in worship shapes what happens throughout the rest of the week. We pray that our worship on Sunday permeates what happens during the week so that all we do becomes a sacrifice to God.
We worship on Sunday morning at 10:00 am. We also have several special services throughout the church year, such as Christmas Eve and Ash Wednesday.
In the United Methodist Church, we recognize two sacraments, baptism and the Eucharist(communion). We do these things because Jesus said to do them. He said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20). He said, "Take, eat, this is my body" (Matthew 26:26) and "Drink of it, for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."
We affirm on baptism. We will not re-baptize (though there is an opportunity to reaffirm our baptismal vows). If you come to us from another Christian denomination we accept that baptism.
We typically celebrate the Eucharist on the first Sunday of the month. In the United Methodist Church we have an open table. You do not need to be a member of this congregation or a United Methodist congregation.
It's nice to meet you.
It's true because we believe that every person who comes into the circle of this special fellowship was sent by God Himself.
So welcome home.
Cedar Creek Lake UMC is my church because it is a special place to come and worship God with loving and caring people. We have a wonderful children's program and great adult Disciple classes. There is something for everyone at CCLUMC.
Cedar Creek Lake UMC is special because it offers an abundance of opportunity to do work in God's name without undue pressure to do so.

Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church is special because the atmosphere that is created by the members of the church helps make my family feel at home.
