Become a Member

There are three ways to join the Cedar Creek Lake church family:

PROFESSION OF FAITH AND BAPTISM

A person who begins the Christian life does so through baptism, which is a symbol of God's grace through Jesus Christ. For a young person or an adult, this also is an opportunity to profess one's faith.

TRANSFER FROM ANOTHER DENOMINATION

Since you have been baptized into the Christian faith in another denomination, it is not necessary to be rebaptized to celebrate your spiritual growth.

TRANSFER FROM ANOTHER UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Arrangements will be made to transfer your membership from another United Methodist Church. All of the necessary details will be handled by the church staff.

When you join Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church, you are joining a community. Being a part of any community requires that you commit yourself to that community. At Cedar Creek Lake each new member is asked to make the following commitment:

Will you promise to uphold Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church with yourprayers, your presence, your gifts, your service, and your witness?

By affirmatively answering these questions, new members are committing themselves to the church, but are also being committed to by the members of Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church as well.
